Project Description

G.R.E. International was founded in 1992 by seven Mohawk entrepreneurs from the “Six Nations” reserve.
These entrepreneurs, who were all involved in the Native American free trade, put their capital together, bought the first cigarette and packaging machine and brought the popular cigarette brand “Sago” in the Canadian market.
The company Grand River Enterprises International is one of the most successful companies belonging to the Mohawk Indians.
